Abstract: During the last decades, a need for educational resources on Information Literacy was identified by the professional community, encouraging both UNESCO and the author to produce such a publication. Although the IL concept has been studied and promoted in many countries, resources and information on the concept and its practices were spread in different types of sources, formats and languages. Therefore, in order to provide an inclusive and multilingual approach, this e-Pub brings together contributions from IL experts from all over the world. By listing resources in several widely spoken languages, the e-Pub enables professionals, researchers and individuals from various backgrounds and nationalities to access relevant information in their native languages.
